Pub Quiz Christmas Bash

The pre-flash always makes Iain blink - he had his eyes closed in every one of the photos we took of him

We've been going to the pub quiz at Rosie O'Grady's Irish Bar for nearly a year now, and on Wednesday evening we had our 'Christmas edition'. Alex, the quizmaster, said he would be giving extra points for the best fancy dress, so, fiercely competitive as ever, we wore silly headgear (flashing deely-boppers and Christmas crackers) and covered the table with reindeer and Christmas trees. As it turned out, Alex didn't give any extra points for dressing up at all, so we all looked like eejits for no good reason, other than Alex's amusement. I think he might be one of those evil geniuses, although I've never seen him with a cat.
